 Model Potential Winner
"Courtney Meyer"

Courtney Meyer
Model-grid is pleased to announce its winner, Courtney Meyer, as having unique Model Potential! Laken Giles, one of our model-grid judges says, "Courtney's look is really fresh and modern with very little makeup, and she seems comfortable and natural in front of the camera. She also has a beautiful face with very expressive eyes and great lips."

Courtney, is 14 years old and will be a freshmen at a Florida High School, which Courtney is proud to say is rated number 7 in the country. She loves playing soccer with her friends, and her favorite thing of all is go shopping with her mom.

Model-Grid asked Courtney a few questions to get to know her better...

MODEL-GRID: Courtney, what inspired you to get into Modeling?

COURTNEY: I was first inspired to get into modeling when I saw my friend Ella Wahelstedt in the Justice catalog. I then started thinking about how it would be so much fun to model and I asked my mom if I could do it.

MODEL-MODEL: Wow, Ella is of the models on the grid, but was out of town at the time of the Model Potential voting. This leads us to our second question, (although, I think we might know the answer) is there a model on the grid that has inspired you?

COURTNEY: Yes, I am inspired by Ella Waheledtedt, who has been my friend for a few years. We played soccer together until she started modeling for Justice and then moved. She is such a sweet person and if I hadn't known her, I don't know if I would have gotten into modeling.

MODEL-GRID: Courtney, if you were to become a well-known model what kind of influence would you like to have on your peers?

COURTNEY: If I became a well-known model I would like to influence teens and women in the modeling industry to not give up on their dreams, not give into peer pressure, never use drugs, never drink alcohol unless you are of age, and that you are perfect just the way you are.

MODEL-GRID: Is there anything special that you have a heart for outside of modeling?

COURTNEY: I would really like to be involved in helping animals. I would love to volunteer at local animal shelters and adoption centers, because all animals deserve a good family to live with.

MODEL-GRID: Thank you, Courtney, for sharing with us a little about yourself. We look forward to watching your progress as a model. Model-Grid is proud to support and encourage you on your path to success. And a big thank you to the model-grid models for their deliberations and efforts in the Model Potential voting process.
